Individual Therapy for Adults
I will meet you where you are.
Everyone's story is unique. Therapy at Seed Psychology Services is guided by curiosity, compassion and a genuine desire to understand your experiences in the context of your whole life. Sessions are collaborative, thoughtfully paced, and tailored to your individual needs - creating space for insight, healing and growth.
Telehealth Australia Wide
Exploring & Understanding Neurodivergence
Perhaps you've always felt different, worked harder than those around you just to keep up, or found yourself wondering why everyday life seems so exhausting. Whether you're exploring ADHD or Autism for the first time, newly diagnosed, or looking for support after years of masking, therapy offers a neuroaffirming space to understand yourself, work with your strengths, and create a life that fits you.
Individual Therapy may support you with…
Women's Life Stages
The transitions commonly experienced across women's lives can bring unexpected emotional challenges alongside profound change. I also recognise that some of these experiences are shared by people of diverse genders. I support those navigating fertility concerns, assisted conception, pregnancy, pregnancy and infant loss, birth trauma, early parenthood, perimenopause and menopause. Therapy provides a compassionate space to make sense of experiences, adapt to change, and care for yourself through every stage.
Trauma & Nervous System Healing
Trauma can leave lasting effects long after an experience has passed, shaping the way you think, feel, relate to others and move through the world. Whether your experiences stem from childhood, relationships, birth, or other overwhelming events, therapy can help you understand your nervous system, process what has happened in a safe and supported environment, and reconnect with a greater sense of safety, self and possibility.
Anxiety, Identity & Self-Understanding
You may find yourself constantly overthinking, striving for perfection, feeling burnt out, or wondering why life seems harder than it appears for others. Together we'll explore the patterns beneath anxiety, self-criticism, masking and overwhelm, helping you develop greater self-understanding, confidence and self-compassion.
Relationships & Parenting
Our relationships shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us. Whether you're navigating challenges in your closest relationships, adjusting to parenthood, or trying to parent in ways that feel more connected and intentional, therapy offers a space to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and build more fulfilling relationships with yourself and those who matter most.
The Whole Picture:
Complex and Overlapping
Life rarely fits neatly into one diagnosis or one challenge. Most often, multiple threads of life overlap and influence each other - perhaps the ongoing impacts of trauma alongside ADHD, parenting whilst understanding your own neurodivergence, feeling anxiety and stress whilst trying to conceive, or maybe navigating all of the above during perimenopause. Rather than treating each challenge in isolation, we'll work together to understand the whole picture, bringing clarity to complexity and supporting meaningful, lasting change.

Individual Therapy
Your Questions, Answered
-
Every person's journey is different, and therapy is tailored to your individual needs, goals and pace.
Our first two sessions focuses on understanding what has brought you to therapy, exploring your current concerns and relevant history, and discussing your goals for therapy. Together, we'll begin developing an understanding of your experiences and consider the most helpful way forward.
This includes identifying areas of focus, considering a session frequency that suits your needs, and exploring any other factors that may support your wellbeing throughout the therapeutic process.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all model, therapy is guided by your goals and integrates evidence-based approaches that best support your individual needs.

If you are specifically interested in EMDR, suitability will be discussed in your first session. Please see the EMDR page for further information.

Not necessarily, you may attend therapy in one of three ways:
Medicare
If you have a current Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP, you may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for up to ten sessions in a calendar year.
Private Appointments
You are welcome to attend privately without a referral.
This option provides flexibility if you have used your Medicare sessions, prefer not to access Medicare, or simply wish to self-fund your care.
Private Health Insurance
Depending on your level of cover, you may be able to claim a rebate through your private health insurer after payment.
As cover varies between insurers and policies, I recommend checking directly with your provider regarding your individual entitlements.

Individual Therapy (50 minutes): $220
If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan, and referral from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate (currently $101.55) for up to ten psychology sessions each calendar year. Medicare rebates are processed following payment of your appointment.
Private health insurance rebates may also be available depending on your level of cover. As policies vary between insurers, I recommend contacting your private health fund directly to confirm your eligibility and any applicable rebates.
Payment is due on the day of your appointment. Where relevant, Medicare rebates will be processed after payment is received. An invoice and receipt will be provided for your records.

Individual therapy is available for adults (18 years and over) seeking support for a range of emotional, psychological and life experiences.
You don't need to be in crisis, or have everything figured out before reaching out. Many people come to therapy because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, are navigating a significant life transition, or simply want a deeper understanding of themselves.
I welcome people from all cultural backgrounds, faiths, relationship structures, genders and sexualities, and strive to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive space where your individual experiences and identity are valued.
At present, I am unable to provide:
Therapy for children or adolescents
Couples or relationship therapy
Specialist eating disorder treatment
Specialist alcohol and other drug treatment
Crisis or emergency mental health services
If you're unsure whether Seed Psychology Services is the right fit for your needs, you're very welcome to get in touch. If another service would be better suited to support you, I'll let you know before you book.
Please note: Seed Psychology Services is not a crisis or emergency mental health service. If you require urgent support, please contact your GP, your local mental health crisis service, attend your nearest Emergency Department, or call 000 if there is an immediate risk to your health or safety.

All therapy sessions are provided securely via telehealth, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home, anywhere in Australia.
Prior to your appointment, you'll receive a secure link to join your session. All you need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. Where possible, a quiet space with minimal distractions allows you to get the most from your session.
At the same time, I recognise that life doesn't always fit neatly around therapy. Parenting young children, caring responsibilities, feeding an infant, sensory needs, or other aspects of daily life may naturally become part of our work together. Sessions are flexible and responsive to your individual circumstances, and we'll work together to create an environment that feels as comfortable, accessible and supportive as possible.
Many people find telehealth to be a flexible and comfortable way to engage in therapy, particularly when balancing work, parenting or other commitments.
